Coded Bias Documentary

DaVinci Charter Academy will be hosting a free film screening of the Coded Bias documentary for all DJUSD families. There will also be an optional discussion session after the film for anyone interested. Coded Bias covers the subject of biases and a lack of diversity in the computer science field, and aims to bring awareness to the subject while also getting more young students interested in computer science. The film is 90 minutes, and anyone who is unable to attend is still encouraged to watch it, as it can also be watched on Netflix. For those who have already seen it, or would rather watch it on their own time, we still hope you would consider joining us during the discussion period to share your thoughts and reflections on the content of the film.

Date: Wednesday, May 19th

Times:

  • Film screening - 5:00PM to 6:30PM
  • Film Discussion - 6:45 to 7:15
