Favorite DV Memory?:
I had a lot of great moments at Da Vinci, but one of the memories that stands out most to me is World War I Night. My group was the guinea pig for the Downtown Abbey theme, where 4 groups, 1 from each period of Mr. Bell’s world civ class, came together to transform an entire room into an exhibit. I remember the process as extremely stressful and requiring dedication, but I was surrounded by a group of determined, hard-working teammates that turned it into something fun. I remember breaking down into tears once we had finished decorating the room. Seeing our hard work come alive before my eyes was a very rewarding experience that I still cherish to this day. World War I Night will always be my favorite project because it was the first time in my 3 years at Da Vinci where I truly saw my potential and realized that learning can actually be fun.

What have you been doing since you graduated?:
I’m currently studying pre-veterinary animal science at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo and working at the Chick-fil-A on campus. I spend all my free time snuggling my rescue kitty, Otter
