  • It is officially Fall and the Davis High Snowboard Race Team is getting ready for winter. Dryland conditioning begins in early November. Athletes must be cleared with the Athletics Dept. to be able to participate. A Zoom informational meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 30th at 7:00 p.m. If interested, email Coach Bill Williams: bwilliams@djusd.net .
  • Yearbook Class has launched the Yearbook Fundraiser for DVHS. Money raised during this program will be used to help students produce the book.  They would love your support! Please click this link to help support my efforts.
  • Fall workouts for DSHS softball will begin 9/20/2021 and go thru 11/18/2021.  Mon & Wed-DSHS Weight Room: 7-8pm; Tues & Thurs-Varsity Softball Field: 4-5:30pm. Athletes must be cleared by the Athletics Department in order to participate. Please contact Varsity head coach Tyler Gibson with any questions: tygibson@djusd.net 
  • Any 9th-12th grade girls interested in trying out for the girls basketball team at Davis High please contact coach Heather Highshoe at hhighshoe@djusd.net. Pre-season workouts are currently underway, and tryouts begin November 1.

  • Calling All Gamers! Do you want to compete on the official DJUSD Raptors eSports Team against some of the toughest schools in the state? The team is currently looking for Super Smash Bros. (Nintendo Switch) and League of Legends (PC) players to join the squad for the upcoming Fall Season.
    • Grades 9-12 are eligible to participate.
    • Tryouts will be held the week of September 20th. Official season begins September 27th.

  • SAT for 12th Grade Students Applying to 4-Year Colleges and Universities
    What:
      Da Vinci Charter Academy will administer the SAT on Wednesday, October 13th at 8:00 am.
    • The cost of the exam is $55, and financial aid waivers are available.
    • The SAT may be used by colleges and universities to determine admission. The UC/CSU system will not use the SAT for admission, but it may be used for scholarship awards.

  • PSAT for 10/11th Graders
     Da Vinci Charter Academy will administer the PSAT/NMQST on Wednesday, October 13th at 8:00 am. This is a FREE test for Da Vinci students, sponsored by DJUSD.
    • The PSAT/NMSQT is a standardized assessment taken as preparation for the SAT. The SAT is a college admissions examination.
    • For juniors, the PSAT/NMSQT is also a scholarship competition.
    • The SAT may be used by some some colleges and universities to determine admission. The UC/CSU system does not require the SAT for admission.
